This past week I helped a parishioner set up his poetry blog. I’ve been reading David’s poetry for years now and sitting and listening to his stories when I visit him at his home. I invite you to subscribe, you will not be disappointed. David spent 48 years working on the Western Rivers of the United States, mostly the Mississippi between St. Louis and head of Passes, and 5 and a 1/2 years in South America on the Orinoco in Venezuela and Paraña and Paraguay rivers in Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil. He now lives and writes poetry in the Ozark mountains of Arkansas:
