Lutherans On Substack
Substack, uniquely among blog platforms, allows creators and followers to tailor their subscription experience. For example, many of you read this blog by subscribing to e-mail updates, while others read it by visiting it like a blog.
I thought some of you might like sampling some of the other Lutheran Substack blogs. So here’s a short list to get you started.
The most famous Lutheran on Substack is Nadia Bolz-Weber. She has rather reliably been publishing sermons, prayers, and litanies these days over at The Corners. Her blog is the second most popular faith-based blog on Substack.
A favorite new arrival on Substack, Ben Dueholm, is a frequent contributor to The Christian Century, where I also sometimes publish. His The Parish Bulletin is hella smart.
Journalist, pastor, and author of Red State Christians, Angela Denker’s blog I’m Listening covers contemporary events in light of the gospel.
Grant Eckhart is a pastor of collegiate ministries at Ohio State University and blogs at Ministry In the Weird.
I have a feeling there are probably many more folks writing on Substack these days, so post your own recommendations in the comments. Thanks!
